One of CURE's key strategic objectives is to identify specific disabilities in the developing world on which we can have a major impact. There are programs in place to target clubfoot and cleft lip/palate, two of the most common congenital birth defects. Both can be easily cured by early identification and intervention. CURE works with the world's best medical experts to establish evidence- based protocols that can be implemented across all of our hospitals to treat these conditions.
In addition, CURE is focused on providing training and education programs to national medical professionals. These individuals then have the knowledge and skills to share with others and raise the standard of care in their countries.
About Us
It's not an overstatement to call ourselves CURE International: we've focused our energies and resources on the 125 million children in developing countries who can be cured - and cured completely. Specifically, we're helping the kids with Hydrocephalus, Cleft Palate, Club Foot, Spina Bifida and other spinal deformities, and crippling orthopedic conditions. Seven hundred thousand children have already had their lives transformed by the touch of CURE -- and their families have experienced equally miraculous transformations in their own lives.
